Since there are so many in the dog category, what can we name them then? Any Suggestions?

Yes, I mean Trolls! I agree with you Wuuzle. I had read in another post, that if we use it, we can have our account suspended. Just wondering if anyone else heard that too.

Which word? Trolls? That's not an offensive word, so why wouldn't we be able to use it? (More offensive are the postings from trolls!)

Have I misunderstood?

Added: How bizarre! Well... I doubt it, seeing as Y! refers to the word Troll the whole time under their Guidelines and Rules. I also think that we would receive some sort of notification. Can you post the link where you read this, just to give us some context? Might be worth asking Y! to clarify...
Also, even if it *were* banned, presumably the way in which Y! would find out would be if a bona fide troll reported you for using the word against them... and once Y! saw the original Question or Answer, they'd laugh in the troll's face and restore your points, LMAO

ADDED: ItalianGreyhound, any chance you could find the original post to the question you're talking about? I'm genuinely curious. Do you think it was reported (HAH! by a TROLL!) for something innocent? I was reported recently, but appealed, and my points were restored. I think if you *don't* appeal then nothing happens except you lose points-- but if you do appeal then a human reviews your posting/ question.

I have used the T word and have not gotten suspended or anything. I think we need to do a group with all our dog experts and dog people that answer dog questions allot so we can create the things we like in the dog section but I dont think that is really possible.

I feel so slow on this one. What the h**l is the T word? I'm really trying to work the brain but the only word that comes to mind with T about dogs is maybe tongue. I think we can still talk about that. Help me out here.

Trolls are not allowed (unfortunately, there's nothing except "reporting abuse" to discourage them), but there's nothing in the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service that prevents you from using that word. Where did you get that I idea from??? For one thing, what would the "Fishing" forum do if they couldn't use that word? ;)

okay, so I am new to this category and I have no idea what the T word is...if it is in fact troll, then what exactly do you mean by it and why would it be offensive?

I personally know some trolls and they are offended by their names not being used...this sounds like a discrimination law suit to me!! LOL!
