baked, grilled, or broiled chicken and fish are PART of a balanced diet that can help you lose weight. meat by itself does not have enough nutrients to keep you healthy and strong. carbs fuel many functions in your body and are necessary for good health, as well as fruits and vegetables. besides, I'd think you'd get so sick of eating the same things 3 meals a day for days on end, you'd blow your diet within a few days. use this website to find out how much of what foods to eat to lose weight and remain healthy.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://tinyurl.im/aHLxp

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

You should start to exercise every day even if you only fast walk for half hour. You can cut your calories to 1200 and eat combinations of the following. Don't try to lose more than two pounds a week or you will just gain it back. If you want to eat healthy, try low fat, high protein, low carb diet. Eat meat like chicken, fish and turkey, never fried, either grilled or baked. Eat low fat cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc., to help cut the fat out of your diet. When it comes to carbohydrates, avoid potatoes, rice, pasta and anything made with white flour, like cake, bread, cookies, pies, candy or anything with suger. Don't drink soda with sugar, try tea, coffee, diet soda instead. Do eat salad, green leafy veggies like lettuce, spinace, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, etc., because these are low glycemic veggies. Also try to get fiber in your diet through bran cereal, fruit with the peel, whole wheat bread, etc. This type of diet is filling and healthy and will produce benefits in the long run. hope this helps..

do not remove carbohydrates from your diet. In order to loose weight you should try to have a healthy balanced diet of everything to ensure you have a great immune system and are at your best :-)
Try having a balanced diet with more fruit and veg and some meat for protein and iron, then start an exercise regime, such as swimming! swimming is the best in the morning, it affects all of your body and also increases your metabolism. Dont remove carbs, my sister always plays around with her diet and when she did this diet it made her very grumpy and she didnt loose weight, she just lost energy ad developed quite a grey complexion!
Good luck with your weight loss programme!

No your body needs carbohydrates to lose weight, also you need vitamins and minerals from vegetables.

I know, I know, we all have that "friend or relative" that lost weight on a low-carb diet, but check on them in a year and see where they are, tired all the time and gained the weight back.

Chicken and Fish are very good choices for protein, but you need good carbs and good fats to make your body a fat burning machine.

You may be able to lose weight that way, but it's not healthy. Your body NEEDS carbs and fat. The key is to eat the right kind of carbs and fat. If you get that combination right and add exercise, you'll lose weight.

Here are a few tips:

1. You MUST exercise if you want to lose weight and keep it off, so do something every day, even if it's just a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood. Don't say you don't have time for exercise; you have to MAKE time. Yes, it takes time and effort, but you're worth it, right?

2. Walk as much as you want, but don't do cardio for more than 40 minutes at a time. If you do, you risk burning muscle instead of fat.

3. If you do strength training, use light weights and do lots of repetitions. That'll really help you "tone up."

4. Your diet will make you or break you. You have probably learned bad eating habits over time (most people do). That's not your fault, but now you have to deal with it. Make a commitment to yourself to unlearn those bad habits and re-learn better habits.

5. Eat breakfast every day within an hour of getting up. People who don't are 450% more likely to be overweight.

6. Eat six small meals or snacks per day instead of three squares per day or one big meal per day. Your body expends energy digesting your food, so eating smaller portions more often keeps your metabolism running high because you're constantly digesting food.

7. Avoid these as much as possible:

-- Trans fat (any type of partially or fully hydrogenated oil)
-- High fructose corn syrup (soft drinks are LOADED with it)
-- Fast food
-- Junk food
-- White sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes
-- The deadly C's (cookies, cakes, candy, chips, cola)

8. Build your diet around these trim-body-friendly foods:

-- Nuts, any kind (almonds are best)
-- Beans/Legumes
-- Fresh vegetables (green is GREAT!!!)
-- Dairy products (as long as they're low-fat or non-fat)
-- Eggs
-- Lean meats (fish and poultry top the list)
-- Olive oil
-- Whole grain breads/cereals/pasta
-- Fresh fruits (anything that ends in "berry" is a winner)
-- Tea (green tea or black pekoe tea)
-- Cold water or ice water (your body has to expend extra calories to heat it up)

9. Desserts and treats are the exception, not the rule. Having said that, however, (1) you can have a couple of pieces of chocolate every day - just don't overdo, and (2) Allow yourself one "cheat meal" every week where you eat and drink whatever you want as long as you don't gorge yourself. That'll help keep you from feeling deprived and it'll make it easier to stick with your new healthy eating plan.

Good luck!
