Will repair this earth..
ISLAM- Will NEVER give up thier beliefs and way of life to a world they believe is hedonistic, and as you know thier faith is growing
they reject ATHEISM

Christians- The faithful will never live or give up what they believe as followers of Jesus Christ and live in a society that preaches atheistic views.

JEWS-Faithfull will reject and fight to the finish to persevere thier religion, there country and right to exsist at all costs.

And I would say the faithful off all these religions would die than give up GOD and live in a world where GOD is not part of life.

So atheists knowing this, either you think all people of GOD should perish and a itty bitty world of Athiests can repair the world OR you can realize GOD is the only thing that will finally come and repair the earth wipe out the wicked and create a world where ALL will live in the Glory to GOD.. which is it?

How did you come to the conclusion that those were the only options?

Trying to kill off all the religious people would be a huge waste of time for atheists, even if it were possible.

If all the religious people disappeared and only atheists were left, there would probably be a whole bunch of new religions popping up within the next 100 to 200 years. They would be different from todays religions in their details, but overall they would probably be similar in gist.

People constantly come up with ridiculous but attractive ideas and get all excited about them and get other people to join in the belief. Its pretty obvious that humans have a marked tendency to believe in what they want to have be true, despite mountains of evidence that it is untrue.

Killing all religious people would do no good at all. You would just wind up with a bunch of atheists who have been emotionally traumatized by their own atrocities. Heck some of them would probably become unhinged and end up starting some secret religious movements soon after the last religious person died.

On the other hand, a drastic reduction in the human population of the world would probably do wonders for the environment...

Wait a second. I thought in your previous question you said that the reason the world was so screwed up was because there were more atheists around. Where'd all these atheists come from if nobody of faith is rejecting their faith? Are we just breeding rapidly? Or are followers of what I guess you'd consider "lesser" faiths turning to the path of darkness?

Anyway, we all know how miserable the world was when religion ruled. I say it's time to give reason a chance and see if it can fix things.

Your last paragraph is badly flawed with assumptions.

Here's another possibility. Either intolerance will continue to grow and the human race will wipe itself out and make way for some future species that might be better than us -or- tolerance will continue to grow and all the people of the world, no matter what their beliefs, will come together and work together.

There may or may not be a god but I do not believe that he is necessary for the solution.

Many of each of the religions have become atheist or indeed crossed to another religion.

As there is no such thing as god - how can he / she repair the world.

People of faiths will not perish but some may see the light

Ridding the world of religion will not do much to improve nor bring ruin to humanity. To those that believe that riding the world of religion would somehow eliminate the 'cause' of problems are simplistic in their reasoning. Religion is used as a justification, one that would be easily replaced by another ideology (political/social/economic) to be used as a justification for war or whatever ills humanity wishes to commit. The problem lies within the nature of human subject. As an individual he is fine, but when humans try to act as a group...

You are DEFINITELY crazy. Just so you know.

Why does ANYONE need to fix the world? It seems to be working pretty well as it is. Sure, it's not perfect if you are looking at HUMAN satisfaction. But who said that's the point of the world?

Humans on the other hand could use a bit of tweaking. But we're working on that, curing diseases, looking at ways to improve stewardship of natural resources, improving technonlgy, etc.

LOL OHHHHHH your GOD, that is HILARIOUS......

whew, i needed a good laugh....yes I agree that arguing religion is pointless, and some people of faith would rather die than give up god, but that is because they are scared.....

Scared that they really are on this planet all by themselves, save their family, and that they must make their own way in the world.....but it doesn't make them right

A 5 year old will argue that there is a santa until he is blue in the face, using many of the same arguments as a "christian, hinduist, muslim, or jew......

heavily!? Why is it so stressful to settle for evolution? you are able to be a Christian. maybe that's no longer a attempt of our faith, yet in basic terms a technique that God used to create us. Why do you people insist on proscribing the potential of God to the imaginations of a few undereducated creationists who do no longer even have an inkling of the complexities of the international we live in.

Many Christians do become atheists and there are infact several I could name on this site.

As for repairing the world all believers and atheists should be joining up to do that. When someone's helping you out, do you ask what their religious affiliation is? I certainly don't.

You have a very sad outlook on life

please prove your god exists

you can rant all you like but it's completely meaningless without any evidence that what you say is true. Proper evidence. Not kooky stuff that you imagine to be evidence
