I think Hong Kong is one of the most beautiful cities in the world in one of the most beautiful natural settings you'll ever see. It's got the harbor, beaches, islands and the mountains combined with ultra-modern architecture mixed in with older Chinese-style neighborhoods. Hong Kong is a nice city to visit and one of the best in Asia in terms of shopping and food. The city is clean and modern and the people are quite friendly. This is one place which I visit often and still can't get enough!!

Yes, it is beautiful! The neon signs at night is exciting. When you look down from the peak whether it is daylight or nightfall, it is breathtaking. Go there and you will love it.
If Hong Kong was a girl, I would marry her right away!!

In my opinion, HK is beautiful. I am not a big city guy and this city is indeed extremely crowded. However, if you look at the architecture, wonderful harbor and quaint surrounding islands, "The Peak," and the way the city has managed to accommodate 10+ million people, I would say they have done a decent job.
When I visited, I took a small boat to Leshi Island to visit the Big Buddha. I also stopped on another small island. There were small towns and friendly shopkeepers, not the usual hustle and bustle.
I don't consider HK to be my primary vacation destination, but it clearly has a lot to offer. Food, shopping, transportation, entertainment are excellent. Prices are pretty high and regular hotel rooms are very small. Overall, it rates pretty high for a short visit.

hong kong is beautiful. its like new york city but cleaner better and even more amazing. theres a city on one side and mountains on the other. its really pretty at night by the bridges, and the streets
