I had really bad acne for some time now... however i recently saw a dermatologist who prescribed me Retin-a micro 0.1% and Minocyclin 50mg i believe is the dosage.... i also started taking 50 mg of Zinc each day along with a chlorophyll supplement.... since I've started doing this I've had 2 zits in a 3month period, which is amazing considering i would have almost 2 zits a week.... So hope this regiment helps you too.

I had clear skin all throughout high school (puberty - adolescent). It wasn't until I had my third child when I began to break out like crazy. I have used Pond's, Proactive, Avon, Clearasil, Artistry, NuSkin, and other high-end products but I continued to breakout. And the pimple scars were scary ugly!

Finally, I asked my older sister what she uses (she used to have horrible pimples in high school and now has cleared) - she said she uses Caress. So now, I use Caress bar soap in the morning AND THEN Neutrogena Glycerine clear bar soap in the evening (to remove make-up without drying my face). Then I use a peptide lotion after each wash.

Well - my pimples went away BUT the acne scars remained. A girlfriend pointed me to a product that I have only been using for a month or so - - using it 2-3 times a week only. And the results have been pretty amazing.

Use a facial steamer, it works really well, set it on hot for 15 min, then cold. I tried it the other day, and now my face is back to normal. If you do hot, it hurts a bit because the steam is hot, but its actually opening up your blocked pores, and then cold makes your face fell good. If it doesn't work the first time, do it a couple more times. You notice how your face feels really greasy afterwards, that's the stuff in your blocked pores. Pat your face dry with a clean towel, if you scrub, it irritates your face. For some reason, its like no ones heard of a facial steamer!

Good luck!

i had the same problem. My face used to be covered with big pimples and blemishes galore. Then people started tellen me to drink more water, and i thought that was like an old remedy, but it actually works. Drink water everytime you get thirsty and try to turn down anything extremely sweet. you can also try a skin bleacher. they have them for under 10 dollars at walmart.
