Use the colors of a winter wonderland but not too much Christmas ornamentation. Here is one example of such a wedding from The Knot:

The feeling of a winter wonderland wedding could be with blues, silvers, white. Perhaps a snowflake theme.

It should depend on the colors you want. I think that light blue, white, and silver would look splendid. For the reception room, have it simple, but sparkle. Have all the tables lined with a white table linen/cloth. You could use a little christmas tinsel (the opaque) in the center on top of a simple mirror. Then you could use cubed candle holders, or frosted glass candle holders and put white candles in them. To tie in the blue, you could have a table runner of baby blue run across it.. or tie light blue ribbon around the candle holders. If doing chair linens, you could tie the ribbon around the chair and place a snowflake in the center of the bow. If not those you could even add some fun and use a mirror as centerpiece, but frost it then use snowpeople skiing or other statue type pieces be on the mirror.. Those are just a few of my million ideas on this topic!

ice sculptures, snowflakes...lots of snowflakes, candles, they even make like "christmas" scents, but not too many because a ton would be overwhelming and some people might have allergies, so i wouldn't put them at tables...just like...on the bar or something.

you could do like snowflake sugar cookies for a wedding favor.

frosted glasses, and if you're doing a centerpiece with vases...use frosted vases as well.

winter always reminds me of white, red, and silver.

for lighting you could use the tiny chistmas lights...maybe..if it's done right, it won't look tacky like a rope light or something haha.

I am probably the weird one going to answer. When I was going to do a winter wonderland theme I envisioned white white white with ice blue accents. So a lot of crystal, an ice sculpture (they are actually cheaper then I thought), a winter wedding dress... stuff like that.

I don't know what your taste is so you might find some of the ideas um bordering on tacky, but others I think you may really like.

go with red and white flowers with silver snowflakes, use lots of pine. do winter wonderland scenes with mini pinetrees and people with white fluff on the tables. give out scented pinecones for favors. Have one large tree decor for the picture area.

Sorry it is a referral to yet another website, but if you go to a site like Stumps Party/Prom supply, they have tons of theme decorating and there is usually a winter wondeland type of theme. I get tons of ideas from them.

Hope this helps a little bit.

White poinsettias as centerpieces, snowflakes decor, white christmas lights, christmas ornaments as favors. Red as an accent color.

Good luck
