Do you have to go to classes? I know you have to pass a test--how hard is it?

I used to own a florist with my sister and I never went to school for it but she did. I just picked it up from hands on and reading books and looking at flower arrangements at funerals, weddings, etc. You take a class called "Flower Arranging" and it's not hard at all. My sister went for a couple hrs. a night for about 6 weeks. I love flower arranging and if you have a good eye, you can do it yourself. I buy a lot of flowers from Dollar Tree, they are cheap and look really good. I especially love ivy, especially in my home. I have it everywhere and it's a very cheap way to decorate your home and bring the country look in, especially on shelves, book cases and on tops of your kitchen cabinets, if you have some space between the cabinet and the ceiling. Ivy is also a good filler for flowers because it looks good and helps hide flaws and boo-boos. Get you some florist tape, florist picks and flowers, and you're good to go.
