Arabic doesn't use our letter system. It's an interpretation of the Arabic. Qu'ran, Koran-- doesn't really matter, as long as it's pronounced correctly.
Have you noticed that you can spell Mohammad or Muhammad and the spell check won't correct you? Same thing.

The same reason Americans spell it Cologne (city in Germany) instead of Köln. Or Japan for Nippon.

Qur'an is only an English phonetic rendering of an Arabic word. Remember, they don't use English like you. Koran or Kuran or Q'ran are just as phonetic as Qur'an or any other spelling.

It's fairly annoying to spell. I don't spell the bible with a capital, and it doesn't have the audacity to demand a pointless punctuation mark in the middle either.

i don't understand the type you stumbled on interpreting somebody else's letters. If it replaced into published or what, yet do you already know the two of them? None the fewer; replaced into it somewhat any of your corporation to maximum dazzling him? of direction i don't understand how own this letter replaced into. although a letter from a guy to his gf looks somewhat own to me, no rely what it contained. Why not stay out of alternative human beings' corporation except they ask on your opinion.

It's simply an Anglican transliteration of the arabic word, that is it.
Like the way we call Deutschland "Germany" or the city of Roma "Rome".
It's rather meaningless.
