Laws would be decided on benefit/harm to society and not on a groups morality (at least one would hope so).
Myths and stories might be taught in school but not as science and hopefully people would understand that one doesn't believe in Science, but that they accept it or challenge it based on facts and evidence.

Every sane person is an atheist. I guess you mean to ask what would happen if people stopped pretending to believe in God. I think things would change drastically, although I'm not sure how. Probably, things would become more chaotic, initially, but over time (maybe a LONG time) people would decide that civilization is a worthwhile goal.

Well, for starters, gays would be allowed to be happy. So would other atheists and all other people that enjoy freedom to practice what they want.
In fact, the only people in an atheist majority who would be miserable would be those that insist on telling everyone else how to run their lives.

The majority of people would be atheists.
Scientists would not have to waste their time responding to stupidity like Creation Science and Intelligent Design.
We probably would not get a president like GWB again either.

Not much. Human beings have an innate desire to destroy ourselves and others. This has been a part of any organized human gathering since we began. Sadly, an us vs. them mentality will always exist.
If religion was taken out of the picture, it would just fall to eye-color wars, race wars, geographical/faction wars, etc...
It would certainly be healthy if 95% of the world was no longer clinically delusional however.

Much more logical and humanist.
Science would proceed at an even faster rate, since money wasted on religions would be redirected to positive research.
And, no more locals from the churches banging on my door on Sunday, threatening me with hell.

Medical Science and Technology would finally have a little room to breathe, gays could finally get married, and politicians would no longer be voted in just for pretending to be Christian.

I'm not sure it would be different at all... except there would probably be far less religious discussions... people wouldn't be "thanking god" for all their sucess (yet never blaming god for their failures)... and a person's religious beliefs (or lack thereof) wouldn't be any kind of issue anymore.

Well the Christians would have to give up pushing their faith onto the government and into public schools. But other than that, not much.
