these books may be useful for him.
But religous books are must. you should preferably give him bible and Quran, so that he can find the truth. so that he can get out of ignorance and can follow the God Almighty.and he will be saved(Insha Allah) .
And i am sure after reading Bible and Quran he will find the true message of God.
(I know because i had read both of them)

And Islamic shariah gives permission to give him Quran.
because if he had not studied, How he will find the truth.

But I will suggest you that let him study and decide

Why deny your child access to the Bible or the Kuran for that matter if you are a non-believer you have chosen that path for yourself, choosing science and man's law over that of God's. Why not give your child the same opportunity to choose for him/herself as you did. Or are you afraid that they might choose God over Science?
