There is a website to go to to send food however it is way to overpriced. Are there any other options?

I believe most jails use professional vending services. Yes they are higher in some cases but then the first thought is don't commit an offense where you HAVE to use their services.
Likewise telephone services do the same.
The proceeds provide for the agencies without an increase to the law abiding taxpayer.

You can't. The only way for a prisoner in so-cal to receive food from the outside is by ordering it thru a special catalog. At one time you could send them packages of certain foods but that was stopped due to the smuggling of drugs thru those packages
