I've never heard of it. Have you had an email telling you you're a winner? If so, it's a scam.

No, this is a scam that has been put around the net for the last couple of years. Unfortunately, people still keep falling for it, so it won't die out!
The general rule is that any lottery email you get is going to be a scam. I can't understand why people keep falling for these emails saying they have won a lottery, when if you ask them if they ever entered the lottery, they say no! However, greed takes over from common sense and they end up losing money. Anything that seems to good to be true definately is on the net!
If everyone stopped falling for these emails, then they would no longer be sent, but while they keep scamming new victims the emails continue.
The best rule to keep you safe on the net, is that unless you know who the sender of the email is, then just ignore it. You won't miss out on anything, and it ensures you won't get caught out!

Ive been getting the same thing. It looks real, but Im not exactly sure. It is illegal to lie about something like that, so if it is a lie, they are going to be in alot of trouble...

No, just a very common scam email to get. Just delete it, you didn't really win anything.
