I hear people all the time saying how they wash their hair __ times a week. are they not talking about taking a shower? how else do you wash your hair?

Either she's washing her hair in the sink or she wants nothing to do with you. The "washing my hair" bit is something women used to use to get out of seeing a suitor.

They are probably talking about washing their hair in the sink like the person before me said. Some girls wear a shower cap when they take a shower because your not supposed to wash your hair everyday.

well, i guess you could do it in a bath (although that's kinda weird). and then some people do just take a shower - like if its the end of the day and i'm hot, i'll pin up my hair and just wash my body. but then i wash my hair everyday, so i don't really know lol

I wash mine by putting my head over the side of the bath, and using the shower head!

She could be leaning over the bath tub or using the sink. I do it all the time, but also shower regularly

WASHING MEANS WASHING WITH A SHAMPOO. while bathing everyday it is not good to use shampoo,everyday. use shampoo once in a week.

i take showers...but refer to it as washing my hair...cuz god forbid my hair look dirty!! and cuz my hairs dry i wash it every other day. so every shower does not include hair washing.

actually,heard of my parents' generation,if older,using this as
mean excuse as why they don't want to bother,maybe,with a
guy. a way of not even telling him.
