it says to mix with one can of milk. I don't wanna use milk. Thikn it's okay to use water or will it just make it so bad it wouldnt be worth it?

Ugh. You can mix it with water, but it won't nearly be as rich and creamy as it would be with milk.

If you use 1/2 can of water you will be fine.

I use cream of potato soup with canned sliced potatos (drained) and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese-bake for 375 for 25 minutes.

I would do like a quarter or a half of water, not the whole can! probably will taste watery

It already has some milk in it, I believe. It will just be more watery if you use water instead. try it.

You can use water of soup stock (beef, chicken or vegetable) and it will be just fine - not as rich and creamy but still yummy.
