Most states now have linked information on driver's licenses. It's highly doubtful you'd be able to get a license if your license is suspended in another state.

No, All the states are linked together. If your suspended in one state, you will not be able to get a license in another state.

If your Ohio driver's license is suspended you cannot be issued another driver's license with states that share BMV information "compact states". There are five states in the US that are considered "non-compact states" which means they do not share their information with Ohio and vice versa. However all 50 states submit data to the National Driver Registry. (NDR) I have seen people get valid driver's license in one of those states. Just don't get caught driving in Ohio or you will be busted for driving under suspension. The "I have a valid (state name) driver's license" will not work in court. If you want to know what states they are research it for yourself. **However lying to obtain a valid driver's license is a criminal offense. My suggestion is to get legal.

No, all states share info. You will need a clearance letter from Alaska to apply in any other state. An occupational license may be issued if you qualify, this allows you to drive to and from work only, and doesn't erase the problem in Alaska.

No. Ohio is in the Motor Vehicles link-up. You will be asked if you have or had a license in another State in the past. If you lie, you will be prosecuted for that also.

I don't believe so. I live in Ohio as well but they pull your driving record with your SSN....so I would think it would come up as suspended.

OMG, I hope not. Not sure if all (most do) states share info, but I think they do. Good Luck anyway.

Nope, if you're not fit to drive in one state, you're not fit to drive in ANY state.
