my dad says they r selfish becuz thats a lot of kids but i just think they must be VERY sexually active to have so many kids. and actually none of them are adopted. anyways are they selfish people? my dad thinks so =P.

nope they had 17 kids not 16
its stupid to have that many kids
maybe your Dad is right who knows
first thing is for sure they get $3000.00 per child each year

I don't think they are selfish at all or overly sexually active. They support their family themselves and don't rely on public support. They seem to be well adjusted and cared for. Who are we to judge them?The children don't seem to be missing anything. They seem to be a perfectly functional family. 2D

they do to rely on public support..... the duggars got the house furnished by discovery health/tlc ..... you don't think that is public support... i think it is..... they also said they take clothes from people who give them to them... um public support again..... now the father is a relator and makes good money but they are still living very frugally and they can't do it all on their own...... but i think anything over 15 is just weird....... the duggars also said they hope to have more they already have 17 i think they should be done!

i come from a family of 16 children and i feel blessed that my parents love each other so much... i don't really think it's about the sex!
