There's lots of variations to deviled eggs. You can add anything you want to add to the eggs.

After you boil, peel, cut in half, scoop out the yolk...then you can experiment.

Mayo and mustard are common to start off with. I also love adding sweet pickle relish, and finely diced sweet onion. Paprika on top adds a special taste as well.

Other add ons..chopped ham or turkey. Just think of what you would add to an omelet. I've never personally added cheese, but I've seen it done. Salsa is nice too, just don't add much..a little goes a long way with salsa. Or just add some finely chopped tomatoes.

I love deviled eggs and have made them all sorts of ways.

No real recipe, depends on your tastes.
I like them simple, mash the yolks with some mayo, some mustard, salt & pepper.
Other people like to add some relish, or some bacon bits. It's up to you.

My favorite:
boil eggs, cool, peel, slice in halves
scoop out yolks, put in bowl, mash 'em up
season eggs with salt/pepper/cajun seasoning
add mayo, little mustard,
crumbled bacon,
Now, instead of sweet pickle relish i prefer to use chopped fine jalepeno peppers with a little juice or a jalepeno dip i like, but that's your choice.
fill the whites back up, chill and enjoy!

there's no real recipe to deviled eggs. they're simple. boil your eggs, peel them, cut them in half, scoop out the yolks, add lots of salad dressing, hell throw some relish off in there if ya want, then scoop it back into the eggs. WAA LA!! you're done. you can even sprinkle some paprika on top. or put olives on them. whatever floats your boat.

everyone's recipes sound good. i like to put mayo, mustard salt, pepper & some celery salt, pickles diced or dill pickle relish (don't like sweet pickles) i like to use the imitation bacon bits (they're cheaper, better for you & they absorb into your egg yolk mix) & finely diced onion if you like. i also top with paprika but i made a blend of paprika & celery salt & the people liked them that way. hope this helps

After boiling twelve eggs and removing yolks, I add about 2T dijon mustard, 3T horseradish then enough mayo to get the proper consistancy. Taste and add more horseradish to suit your taste. Spoon back into egg whites then sprinkle with paprika.
