To a terminal disease you have?
Or would you rather say "Bug off" to the person who is giving it to you?

If the person giving you the cure had the same disease and is now cured.....would you realize it is not just YOU who has that disease? But infact everyone has this disease? And if you were cured of this disease, would you want to share this cure with everyone else who has this same disease?

(believe me this is getting somewhere...lol)

Notice I said "KNEW" you had a disease. Does it matter what disease? This disease will lead you to death.

And for the first response, the disease is of course SIN. Everyone has it, and everyone needs the cure- which is Jesus Christ. I know many of you have heard this before, but we must bring it from a different angle to help others better understand the seriousness of sin.

Well put.

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27

No one leaves this planet alive. Jesus is the cure to death, as His empty grave proves!!!

As stated in John 3:16-17, God loves all people every where. God did not send His Son to this world to condemn it, but that through the death of His Son, we would all be saved from everlasting punishment and not being able to be with Him after we die because of the sin in our lives.

John 11:25-26, (KJV), says:
25.) "Jesus said to her, `I am the resurrection, and the life. He that believeth in Me will live, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"
26.) "And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me will never die. Believest thou this"

Assuming that you are talking about the Christianity -

If I KNEW that you had had a disease and if I KNEW that you had the CURE and if I KNEW that I had the disease - then, yes, I would probably do it.

But the fact is that I do not believe that the disease exists,
I do not believe that the cure is Christianity (or any religion),
And I do not believe that there is anything wrong with me.

Sorry bout that.

How do you know we all have sin? In what MEDICAL text is this proven.

The only proof that you have sin is from that little black book.

Personally I don't buy it. Another analogy is this: Your great-great-great-grandmother committed a crime and was imprisoned for it. And while being punished for this crime she had a few children, so they were also guilty, and they married someone else who was being punished for something else (since we have no idea where the mates for Adam & Eve's kids came from) and this continues on for several generations until you come along, and now you have to make amends for this crime.... that you didn't commit.... and have no direct knowledge of this event happening.... but you are still guilty?

Do you see why others find this idea so absurd?

That depends. If a doctor shows me the evidence that I have a disease, i.e. test results, x-rays, PET scans, maybe. At least there would be tangible proof that I needed medical treatment. But if some guy knocked on my door and told me I had terminal cancer and I needed his version of chemo.... um, I'd say "bug off."

You can't cure anyone unless they want to be cured. It takes a lot of sacrifice and love of Jehovah God with "All your heart, All your soul, and All your might."
But if your talking about human disease, then better start eating "whole foods" and "natural, organics", whole food supplements (NOT vitamins), and you will be on the right path to cleanse your body for better health. Good advice huh?

Dang... I thought you were talking about the cure for a hangover.

So, I'm being offered a cure for a disease everyone has. Don't tell me the disease is *lack of God*, please don't...

Or I *will* have to resort to grabbing an entire bottle of the cure.

**edit**

Right, that's TWO bottles of the cure for me!

I do not do medicines...I do herbal and homeopathic stuff....side affects being what they are I am not going to expose myself to some of the drugs out there...if there is a cure then by all means share it and let others decide if they want the cure...It is personal
choice

That depends - is the disease real, or is it just in the minds of a group of insane people that try to forcefully inject people with an unknown substance they claim is a cure but is actually lethal?

If there is PROOF that I have a disease and PROOF of a cure then yes. And I know exactly where you are trying to go with this.
