Go to birdchannel.com. They have the best database for bird breeders in YOUR area. Also try birdmart.com

Your local Bird Club will know which breeder's are good and which breeder to avoid.
Make sure the breeder fledges his/her babies they sell.
Also make sure the baby bird is fully weaned!
Also ask and get name of the avian vet the breeder use's.
You can check the breeder with local Human So. to ensure they haven't shut them down or had problems wit them too.
Keep in mind, good breeder's spend alot of money to ensure their birds are cared for and feed and housed well. Cleanliness is a must in keeping birds, so don't buy from a dirty place with a bargin price, you will spend it back in vet bill's and heartache if you get a sick bird.
Call and ask your local Avian vets
Also search google.com or yahoo.com for Bird Breeders in Michigan.
