You can believe in whatever you like!
Although the Christian God is not a fantasy, as your question might suggest. You have to take a serious look at your life now and consider what options would make your life better. You get to choose! Nobody else!
But please don't think that a Christian or anyone believing in God is fooling them self. That would put you in a fantasy world.
