For example if you beleive in the big bang theory explain why you believe this and place your arguments on why you think other theories are untrue =]]]] ok ill go first. (please note, i respect everyones beliefs, so please respect mine)

I think that God created the world. Why? Because it has more proof that God created the world than other theories.

i argue against the big bang theory because big bangs dont create things, they destroy things and people say it was created from gases but if that is true, where did gases come from???. i argue against evouloution because if people evolved from monkeys then why are there still monkeys today? all other theories on rocks and stuff and dont think is true because who created space? and rocks? and gases or whatever?

OK next =]]]]]]]

Ok, I ask "where did the gases come from" myself and I do believe that a god facilitated the conditions that brought about life. You lose me with your argument against evolution. 1. We didn't evolve from modern day "monkeys" we evolved from a primate and 2. If creationism is true, where did all of the other people come from that Cain met in his travels? If Adam and Eve were the first humans created, why was Cain's wife's father older than both Adam and Eve? The Bible is suspiciously quiet on that subject. The preponderance of the evidence substantiates evolution and the whole Adam and Eve story just doesn't make any logical sense.

Religion has always been used to explain what we don't fully understand. There is more than enough evidence to suggest that the universe was spawned by a cataclysmic event 13.5 billion years ago. How exactly? Nobody knows and nobody ever will. However, if you look into it you will find out that the niverse did indeed start as a spec and is constantly and frever expanding outward from the point of origin. In the begining there was only heat and energy which later formed into sub atomic particles and then atoms. Stars created the heavier elements which now make up planets and cosmic detritus. 13.5 billion years in an incomrehnsibly long time. The hubble telescope can see nealry that far in light years out toward the edge of the known universe. Keep in mind that we cant see all the way to the end and that there may be more universes than this one. We may also have a lack of understanding of space and time concerning this phenomena.
Concerning evolution. It can be re-created in labs and is pretty much a proven phenomena. It only makes sense. Man did not evolve from monkeys btw. There were many species of primates that have come and gone in the many millions of years before humans came onto the scene.
Religion is ignorance. Science is fact.

In the beginning, there was no beginning. The Universe is a creation without a Creator.

Our Universe is all that we can know with certainty. What lies beyond our Universe can only be realized with the application of mathematical models. A mathematical model that matches the observable Universe may be considered a likely candidate yet cannot be tested with certainty because we cannot observe that which is outside our physical sphere.

Our Universe emerged from the background of the Greater Multidimensional Cosmos some 13.5 billion years ago. It continues to expand at an increasing rate and in the distant far, far future will fade into nothingness. The Universe and everything in it, including our world and species are impermanent. Nothing lasts forever. We must find our joy in living in the moment because that is all we really have.

First off, "God created the world" isn't a theory. It is a hypothesis at best. That should also clear up your "has more proof" statement.

The Big Bang theory is a scientific theory, with science behind it.

Oh second thought, this isn't worth going on. You are either using sarcasm to make a joke, or you are ignorant. If you are not making a joke, then I apologize, but you are ignorant. A 6th grader should know all the problems with your statements.

okay so it turns out that you are really in 6th grade. What you should do is take all these statements to the "science" section of yahoo answers. tell them that you were told you needed to learn why these statements were wrong. Then they can help you to understand what you need to learn.

I think it was the big bang why because it has more proof in science then those other made up religious stories. bibles are like a few thousand years old but man and earth are much more. I argue against the god theory cause if gods created things then there would be more things and people on more of those other god created planets. and if god created people, then why are there monkeys at all... what did god create them for, we can't eat them and they don't do housework. I mean like, who created god if he created us,

I believe the Big Bang is pretty well supported, scientifically. No one can prove or disprove what was behind it--but something had to make it happen. I choose to call that something "God."

(Monkeys were not ill-suited for life; so just because one branch took a different direction, that doesn't mean they would die out.)

My dear, where did God come from? And please do show me this proof of God-all I have seen is baseless claims. Please take the time to read through this: http://www.evilbible.com/

Nobody is sure how the universe was created but to say that there is a God is jumping to conclusions. And evolution doesnt lay claim that human evolved from monkies; its that we had a common ancestor. Atleast here we have some genetic and fossil evidence to back up the theory.

I believe God created everything. Why? Because religions all around the world believe in a creator, not just one.

God masturbated into a void and created the universe. Something does not come from nothing. It had to be created by God.

The world was built in a planet making factory under the direction of a pair of mice. Everyone knows that.
