I drink a lot of different kinds of tea, but one of my favorites is actually premade and in a bottle lol. It's Tazo's bottled green tea that is sold at Starbucks. What makes it so great is that it has a touch (just a touch) of spearmint and lemon in it, making it the most refreshing drink for me!
I think Tazo and Stash are the best bagged teas out there.
Try Argo Tea Cafe if you live in the Chicago area! Think Starbucks, but with tea!
Teavana is an amazing store in malls that sells loose tea, accessories, custom brewed tea, etc. Anything you can think of is there.

I prefer to buy loose tea at a tea shop.
Most of the time whats-in-the-pot though is from Bigelow Tea Co
Either Earl Grey or Constant Comment.

the first two are english (lke me!) the third is Indian I really like strong tea but if I want a gentle one I choose Earl Grey nice light taste
Im in Australia so I dont know if you can get any of the above in the USA

I have many 'favorite' teas, depending on the time of day, what I am doing, and the temperature. My husband and I both drink iced Earl Grey with Double Bergamot when it's warm out. I like any of the teas with 'sleepy' in their names and really love those that tastes of lavender. I also like one that may be available only in our city ... Post Alley Cappucino. It's actually a 'rooibos' tea that tastes like a cappucino, with NO MILK added. That's one of my best 'afternoon treats.'

There are continuously going to be extra useful manufacturers and styles of espresso and tea out on the marketplace, yet as a ordinary familiar in value and availability, i might say Folgers espresso and Lipton tea.

Darjeeling Iced Tea Recipe:
Take fresh water from the cold tap and boil. Put two teaspoonsful of tea into teapot for each person to get strong brew. Pour in boiling water. Cover teapot and wait for at least five minutes. Fill three-fourths of a large glass tumbler with ice cubes. Pour tea from the teapot. Add sugar syrup and sliced lemon to taste, but no milk. You can add a sprig of mint. Cool for a few minutes and imbibe straight or through a straw.
Darjeeling Lemon Tea Recipe:
A tempter at all times ! Into a piping hot cup of tea, add a few drops of lemon (not milk) and sugar to taste, stir, and sip in the goodness of tea with the richness of lemon.
Darjeeling Hot Spiced Afternoon Tea Recipe:
4 pints water
1/2 level tsp. whole cloves
1/2 a stick of cinnamon
1 oz. tea
4 oz. sugar
1/4 pint Orange Juice Or squash
Juice of 2 lemons
Cinnamon sticks to serve
Add the spices to the water and bring to the boil. Pour onto the tea and allow to brew for 5 minutes. Stir, strain onto the sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the fruit juices. To reheat before serving (if necessary) place over a low heat-do not simmer or boil. Serve with cinnamon sticks.
Sufficient for 12 people.

I make the best tea in Ohio. I used distilled water. One tea bag of Constant Comment ( on the grocery shelves) and 2 small scoops of black tea in a Mr. Coffee. Hot or cold it's the best. I do think using distilled water is the trick.

Try to mix your own tea powder. Buy some different kinds of tea and mix them according your taste.
Earl Grey is a bergamot flavored tea and very tasty to use for mixtures.
Did you ever try to drink your tea with milk? I tastes great.

as a good english girl and a tea lover, my favourite brand is Twinings. their English Breakfast is a nice all-rounder, not too highly flavoured. Earl Grey is lovely (flavoured wth bergamot), but some people think its too perfumey. I prefer it when its not too milky.
Whittards Afternoon Tea is also really nice.
im afraid ive no idea if you can get them in the states.
(if youre experimenting, id advise you dont bother with lapsang souchong. it tastes like smoke, and thats about it!)
