ok so who was Hernan Cortez and what did he do for the modern world. oh and was he an explorer or exploiter ? please anser back

He destroyed an entire civilization. Hernando......Hernando...He stole the wealth of the Aztecs, gold, jewels, chocolate and spread smallpox as well as trying to push Christianity down their throats.

Hernán(do) Cortés Pizarro, 1st Marqués del Valle de Oaxaca (1485–December 2, 1547) was a Spanish conquistador who initiated the conquest of the Aztec Empire on behalf of Charles V, king of Castile and Holy Roman Emperor, in the early 16th century.
