Can you gain weight from drinking too much water? I know there is a such thing as water weight, but does this stay with you or do you loose the water weight when you use the bathroom?

Your kidneys process the water and it is expelled from your body. Drinking water tends to reduce your body fat and any water weight. Too much water is toxic and can kill you, but you have to drink A LOT of water for that to happen and it isn't easy to get that much.

No drinking water does not make you gain weight. It helps you loose weight actually. You might get a little bloated if you drink to much. But then it goes away. Water has no calories.

I think drinking lots of water is to detox your body...washing away all the toxics as you pee. I heard people who want to lose weight drink alot of water so it's easier to shed off the fats. I haven't tried them myself so I'm not too sure, sorry.

no, water has no calories. What they mean by water gain is the fluid you put on when eating too much salt.

Can you gain weight? Yes. Does it stay? Yes, but you'll excrete them anyway either through urine or perspiration.
