in his country? Isn't it more rampant in the middle east than in any other part of the world?

It's obvious that those of you who have never been to the middle east, or don't know anyone serving there have NO IDEA how much homosexual activity goes on there. I won't even go INTO how much beastility there is. It is FACT that over 75% of Middle Eastern men (still living there) participate in homosexual activity. Probably as a result of the way women are forced to act.

Propaganda and delusion are like alcohol and water. The propagandists often get taken in by their own trickery. The public in the US just gets a different set of propagandists with a different assigned message. The effect is the same. The public reads the news in order to find out what their opinions will be for that day. They are even given a smattering of the opposition's view so the discussions can look more like thought was included.

I don't know about the "more rampant" part one way or the other, but I agree with you that he's delusional if he thinks homosexuality doesn't exist in his country. It exists in every ethnic group and nation, and the quicker people realize and accept this fact, the better off we'll all be.

It sure doesn't exist in Saudi Arabia and Iran. They practice Shariah Law. Neither does prostitution. No in Islam homosexuality is a sin and is a death sentence in certain Muslim countries depending on if they practice Shariah Law or not. Actually in Iran they either throw you in jail or kill you if your homosexual. Saudi just chops your head off. No it not more rampart in the Middle East. What gave you that idea? I don't think that the president of Iran is delusional. I actually agree with him in that the Holocaust wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.

Yes, I think he is, or at least completely in denial. I think it's no less silly to think that homosexuality is "more rampant in the Middle East than in any other part of the world". Homosexuality exists everywhere and the ratio is pretty equal between nations.

Yes there is a LOT of homosexuality in the Middle East. Some of it is innate and some is merely "coping" behavior by frustrated young men who cannot get near a female because the genders are so strictly segregated and no casual socialization "dating" is allowed.

My husband does work in the Middle East a lot and he always tells me of being constatly propositioned by young men for sex, right outside the airport and in the markets etc.

The Iranian president is a COOKY. He does not even believe the holocaust exists.

No more delusional than people here who say homosexuality is a choice. They're effectively saying the same thing, right? They say we're all born heterosexual and some sinners choose to be gay.

As for the prevalence of homosexuality in the Middle East, I would guess it's about the same everywhere. It tends to increase in densely populated areas.

What's funny is his acting as though that would impress us. He knows homosexuality is universal but as a selling point he chose to claim it didn't exist in Iran. I guess that makes him delusional.

Not delusional, no. The penalty for homosexuality is undoubtedly worse in Iraq and other Muslim countries than here. So if there are gays there, they certainly wouldn't be open about it. So it would make sense for him to assume that.

To declare someone "delusional" would take far more than just watching him through the media. One would have to sit down and evaluate all of his behaviors, if one could, which you can't, so that declaration is moot.

Like I told someone else in here: Political posturing, and various behaviors in other countries have their own causes and conditions, which are better studied in more depth so that you get the wherefores in better understanding.

He's delusional for sure. All of the homosexuals are probably in the closet cause they're scared they'll be punished for being themselves. He may be gay himself.
