No, it's safe to say Tyson will never be in the ring again. Tyson is in his 40s and lacks the desire to train or even fight. Now that it looks like he is going to prison again his career is officially over.

While most boxers are past their prime in their mid to late thirties, Tyson seemed to reach the hump at about his mid twenties. Lack of interest caused him to lose to Buster Douglas, but it was the 3 years in jail that ruined his career. If there was any hope for a come-back, it was going to be against Evander Holyfield, and we all saw how that turned out. Many people thought he had a chance to make a come-back against Lewis, but the truth is that Tyson fought Lewis at the wrong time of his life - too late, and it didn't help that this just happened to be Lewis' prime of his career.

Anyway excitement over Tyson is going to have to come from fight replays on ESPN Classic from the mid to late 80s.

Its a shame because the sport of Boxing has never seen anything like Tyson in his prime, and never probably never will again in my lifetime. I mean really, Tyson had the best combination of strength, athleticism, coordination, speed and quickness that the sport of boxing has ever seen. Had Tyson played football instead of boxing, he would have gone down as the most explosive and unstoppable runningback of all time. It was just too short lived.

No way! Mike is to old and to rusty. I think Tyson was a great talent that never developed in to a great fighter. Peter McNeally may even want a rematch. Ha Ha.

Tyson's career is done, whether he comes back or not. No one in the division is scared of him. He doesn't even possess that look of terror that he used to have in his prime. Tyson's skills have greatly diminished and even C-level opponents are able to beat him.

Tyson, do yourself a favor and focus on life outside of the ring.

Even though it appears doubtful, it would not surprise me if he resurfaced and fought again even at 41 years old and past his prime. Mike is still a big name and a big draw.

I doubt it, he can't seem to stay out of trouble long enough to make a comeback.
