Christians: God is supposed to be all powerful and all knowing and everything, right?
What I'm asking is if you went to heaven and met God and he was small in size would it alter your perception of him? Would you lose any respect for him? Would you just be surprised but still feel the same? This is a what if hypothetical question so don't get all bent outta shape, please. :)

Yes, God is all powerful and all knowing. If I went to Heaven and he was small in size I would feel the same about him. I would NOT loose any respect for him. Does he have to look like Buddha for respect? lol Just kidding. But yeah I would be a bit surprised to see him small. Since he is so powerful. But this scene would make me feel no different about him. I would still love and worship him. I could not lose respect for a God that I believe to have created my life and loves me, and watches out for me. Sorry you didn't get what you wanted from your answer the first time. I thought it was a good question. Take Care.

You say you are serious with this question, so I'll resist the temptation to give you a silly answer...although I had several good ones in mind...
Seriously, really, and truly, the problem is that you are confusing what is spiritual with what is physical.
For the sake of the question, let's assume we are in heaven, and God is, as you say, the size of a small cat. As you already stated, He is all powerful and all knowing, and everything (I like that bit), so He must have known that I would have just as much respect for Him as a small cat as I would if He were a large lion.

I do hope He'd still let my dogs in, though.

(Sorry, couldn't help that last bit of sarcasm...I tried, I really really did!)

Aww...I liked my answer to your other question.

I don't think it would matter much. However big God is, he/she/it would still have the power to alter the laws of physics and burst me into flames where I stood. More importantly, even if God were small he would still love me with God's love.

So nope. It wouldn't bother me at all, after maybe some initial confusion.

Jesus teaches that the kingdom of heaven is within you, not a destination resort. So, I imagine that to those who believe, God will appear as each person expects God to. That's what I think. Of course it's difficult to imagine what a being that is spirit would look like...to Moses, he looked like a burning bush...

So, if I went to heaven, it would be within my own experience...and I am sure I'd see God as my own interpretation of what he'd be.

God is Spirit, He can appear in any way He wants to.

Are you saying that you think that people tend to treat short people with little respect?

And after all the things God did, we are supposed to treat Him with less respect because He appears to us short?

No. I would not treat God with less respect because He appeared short in stature.

non existence would = infinitesimally small would it not. Then god might exist at the quantum level. But then again he would also not exist at the same time.

AHHHHHHH! Quantum Physics is so FLICKED!

God's physical appearence has nothing to do with my faith in him!

He is My Saviour after all!

Am looking foward to meeting him!

1 Samuel 16:7 is one of my favorite scriptures. If you have time please read it, and you will see why we should try to think as God does.
Peace.
