Even if an artist praises God, 99% of what they do is against the Christian message. 99% of what is broadcasted with them in it is against Christianity.

Could the 1% of praising God be to lure YOU in trying to convince you they are Christian?

I don't have to listen to the video you provided to know that overall rap is horrendous and not just from a Christian point of view. Most of it sounds like war chants, angry, unintelligent, degrading to women and sometimes very violent. It really has helped to dumb our kids down. Even if the lyrics were decent, how would you know? That's why my children are not allowed to listen to any of it. I've seen parts of videos while changing channels and they are borderline porn. It's junk.

all types of music can be "satanic" or whatever you wanna call it. I found a few christian rap artist on myspace actually, and they are really good. They preach salvation in the lyrics and have that same beat, which might not be good because of dancing but I don't dance so. Lecrae is one and Trip Lee, all you do is go on myspace and look up christian rap and you will find them.

Rap and rock music is sending a bad influence to young people and it is getting worse. Morals are dropping way low and this world is changing to fast.

Puff Daddy love JC, hes praised the lord on public tv multiple times. So has snoop dog, and JZ, and several others...the very same ones who talk about ho's, and gangsta violence, and weed, and dropping it like its hot. Also, there is Christian Rap - DC talk? I think your theory is a little, uneducated.

edit: well 99% of what christians do is against the christian message too, so i guess your all satanists by your definition.

god preaches love, of all people, and to not hate, descriminate, bash anyone for any reason...anyone who votes republican breaks this christian moral, anyone who is homophobic breaks this christian moral, anyone who condemns another person breaks this christian moral.

god says only he has the power to decide who does and doesnt go to heaven, so any christian who condemns someone to hell breaks this christian value

god says let he without sin cast the first stone, so anyone who points out my sins, but sins himself, breaks this christian value.

now tell me, how many "christians" do you really know based upon 3, just 3 christian values.

I agree with Matt J
The spirituality of Satanism is based on doing whatever you want. If rappers talk about "pimping hoes" and "bieng a baller" a think that it does go against Christianity.

It would be awesome if they just threw the christian bling away and get satanic bling.

My experience, most rappers are very devout Christians.

Common usually devotes at least one song to God on his albums.
OutKast have done the same.
Kanye West believes in God, and that he has experienced a miracle through his life threatening accident.

The list goes on..

Why do you care? Personally, I don't listen to rap, I can't stand it, but either way, people are entitled to their opinions in America. We have freedom of religion and freedom of speech, as little as people choose to accept that for anyone else but themselves.

most rappers call themselves christian. I've never heard of a satanic or anti christian rapper. otherwise I might like rap more.

To me, rap seems to be mostly about money and hoes. Has nothing to do with religion.
