i've just got married and i'm not sure what order the rings should go on my finger... should it be my engagement ring first and then my wedding ring or should it be my wedding ring first and then my engagement ring?

I put my wedding ring on 1st and then the engagement ring. This is because I leave the wedding ring on at all times, but as the engagenment ring has a stone, I take that off when sleeping, or when I woke up, id look like Edwards Scissorhands had been at me!!
