Where have you been, believe it or not; The world, universe, was not always here; There is no way, every thing, the laws of nature, light, dark plants, all of man king, could have just come about, just by chance, no way no how!!!! In fact there was nothing at all!!! Nothing!!! Man kind can not Fathom 'NOTHING. > I've been through this once, here it is again. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God (the great creater). This is the very beginning, The Two are standing in NOTHING, before creation started. It was here God spoke and creation begin through the Word, Through Him every thing was created, nothing was created with out Him, Psalm 148:5.
John 1:1 is at the very beginning before any thing. Genesis 1 is where God renewed the face of the earth Psalm 104:30;
after it had been destroyed by the great sins of Satan.
You do not have to see every thing, to know its there. If you were blind, by faith you know the world is there, you jest can't see it.
Look around you, and marvel at the things wrought by God.
Nothing or no one, except a master creater could have wrought the magnificence, that is before us every where.

The Holy Spirit. It is the proof that many seek, though they might not know it.
God draws certain people to Him by the Holy Spirit, He baptizes them (me included) with the Holy Spirit upon the time that we begin to trust Him, He keeps the Holy Spirit with them as they live.
Those who do not believe any of it are confounded because they cannot see it, weigh it, put it in a test tube, measure it in any way.
All they get is evidence which they tend to disbelieve, yet the product is the same as they are looking at it: The Christian believes in God and Jesus Christ and say that it is the truth.
So in sheer incredulity the non believer attacks the Christian for being a 'robot'. But that is the evidence God gives them, and they still don't believe.
Other religions do not say: Jesus is Lord, Jesus is God, Jesus is who we have our trust in ( since He is God, because God will not have us trusting any others! ) , Jesus saves us from God's wrath, God's wrath is for those who are sinners, and we are all sinners, but those who believe in Jesus will not be condemned.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
(John 3)
SO I believe God when He said that He sent His Son, and by baptizing me in the Holy Spirit He proved His word:
7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. (John 16)
If anyone had the experience that I had when I prayed for salvation; it will become illogical to deny God and His Son Jesus Christ. It would also be a brazen lie.

My very simple answer is that...God is in the details, my friend.
Now, I'm not Christian...so, I should emphasize that right off. However, I believe that God is in, around, and through all things. That would include your new baby, the doctor who delivered him or her...and even you. How about the concept that instead of seeing the "entity" God as something omnipotent and separate from you....that you are, in fact, God yourself...co-creating your very existence through thought and action. Hmmm...cause and effect wrapped in a blanket of possibility. That's my God!
Good Luck!

Looking at nature shows that it couldnt be an accident.
The bible is wrote in such a way that it could not be falsely written.
example:
prophecies about jesus -
Psalm 22 saw the crucifixion of Jesus
isaiah knew the ministry of jesus
he would be born in bethlehem
he would enter jerusalem riding a donkey
these are too coincidental to be false!
more prophecies ?

To be honest, originally it was because I was raised to believe that. So upbringing was #1. This changed, however, because I left that church and was disillusioned with it's teachings. Later in life, I did some soul-searching, for lack of a better term, and came to my current beliefs which are quite close to my original upbringing.
I believe in God and believe in His answering my prayers and His help throughout my life.
I don't believe in the religions of the world's interference, however. Religious bickering and decisions which lead to intermediaries for us to reach God is horrible. For example: if you are Catholic, it's harder for you to be close to God because you must go through priests and the pope who will tell you what to think and what God is supposedly saying to you.

If you have ever witnessed the birth of a child, or the leaves in fall, you would know there is a God.

I have 6-7 Prayer Journals full of prayers I prayed, and the answers I received. I leave nothing to chance I do look for evidence. Key is to look for it and not depend on taking someone else's word for it. Seek (for truth) and you will find, knock, and the door will be opened to you.

First and foremost, if you don't believe Jesus will torture you for all eternity. This should be reason enough.
More evidence for Christianity being true can be found in the fact that we Christians have very high crime and divorce rates which prove that we are being tempted by Satan. Atheists have much lower rates which proves Satan is not tempting them. This is clearly because Satan knows that they will burn in hell anyway so Satan has no need to tempt them. This proves Satan exists and is tempting Christians.

I have seen miracles. I have sen ppl healed miraculously. I have spoken in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance. I feel him. He walks with me everyday, he is my best friend. But you, you will just call me delusional, oh how I weep for you! It truly saddens my heart that if you do not believe the truth, but only a portion or no portion of it, that you will not see the kingdom of God.
