after you leave the hospital i know you go back to base and talk to the navy doctor but i wanna know do they send you home if you still depressed

what if the recruiter calls the parent and say that the person is coming home soon?

Why did you enlist if you were just going to try and find a way to get out. The Navy is one of the coolest branches of the military. SUCK IT UP, AND DRIVE ON.

it will depend on what the hospital says. if you know you have mental issues do your command a favor and tell them at meps before shipping out,
get treated then join. if your depressed prior to joining it wont get better it will get worse

They should give you a physch eval, and based on those finding, is whether you stay in or not. That is my guess.
