I have a hair straightner which works very well with my hair. I live in India. I know that in USA there is different frequency. So will I able to use my straightner in USA with an adaptor? What should I do for this? Anybody knows how this adaptor will work or not or any details helping me??

The frequency won't matter for a hair straightener. But the voltage will. You don't say what voltage your appliances use, but I would bet that it's nominal 220 volts. In that case you will need a converter to step up our 110 volts to 220. You will also need an adapter to make the prongs of your appliance fit the outlets used here.

It depends on the Voltage System in India. in USA the voltage is 110 volts direct current or 110DC if its the same in India your ok but as India was a british colony its probably 220 Volts DC if thats the case you will have to get ADAPTERS for them to work properely. Hope that answer helps you :-)
