A man and his son were walking in the forest. Suddenly the boy trips and feeling a sharp pain he screams, "Ahhhhh."

Surprised, he hears a voice coming from the mountain, "Ahhhhh!" Filled with curiosity, he screams: "Who are you?", but the only answer he receives is: "Who are you?"

This makes him angry, so he screams: "You are a coward!", and the voice answers: "You are a coward!"

He looks at his father, asking, "Dad, what is going on?"

"Son," the man replies, "pay attention!" Then he screams, "I admire you!"

The voice answers: "I admire you!"

The father shouts, "You are wonderful!", and the voice answers: "You are wonderful!"

The boy is surprised, but still can't understand what is going on.

Then the father explains, "People call this 'ECHO', but truly it is 'LIFE!' Life always gives you back what you give out! Life is a mirror of your actions. If you want more love, give more love! If you want more kindness, give more

It's a nice illustration of a point. I would not tell this story and just expect that that point should be accepted as truth though. You would need to show why and how life works this way. Unfortunately, giving more love to get more love does not always work, think about it a bit and see if you can come up with some examples of this (Hints: Lions, Romans).

Sorry to make such a deal about an inspirational story that illustrates a good point, but often people tend to just accept a story like this as truth as it "sounds right" and forget to think about the implications or realize that the story is constructed to make a point, not a real life event. This blurs what should be accepted as fact from what is fiction used to illustrate a point.

theres another version of the last one here it is: A suicidal man feels he wants to have a little fun before ending his life. He gets a gun and some chalk and waits behind a tree beside a not so busy road. Eventually he spots a Ferrari driving his way, and he instantly decides to seize the opportunity. He walks onto the street with the gun pointed at the blonde woman driving the car and screams at the top of his lungs "GET OUT OF THE CAR". The woman gets out of the car. He then draws a circle on the ground and tells her to stand in the circle. He then tells her that no matter what, she cannot step out of the circle. He asks the lady if she likes her car, and she says "Of course! just look at it!" He responds "Too bad for you". He aims his gun at the car, and fires off a few bullets which pierce the car all over. Surprisingly, the lady just giggles. He figures she's just going crazy with shock, and shoots the car a couple more times and it ignites. The lady then starts laughing hysterically. With a grin on his face, he shoots it a couple more times and it explodes. By this point the lady is rolling on the floor laughing. He asks her "What could be so funny?? I just destroyed your Ferrari for Gods sake!!!". She then wipes away some tears and proclaims "While you weren't looking, I stepped out of the circle three times!"

Not many can tell a joke that contains a spiritual lesson. The trouble is that when you flop, you fail at both. Keep at it, though. Practice makes perfect.

It's a neat moralistic kind of life-lesson anecdote, but it's not a joke or funny to me. Where's the punch line?

Dude.....leave the comedy to the professionals. But did you ever consider writing for "Davey & Goliath"?

It's kind of cute in a smarmy way, but not much of a joke.

You fail at question.

You fail at joke.

Please try something else. Go write a book if you like telling stories.
