White horse can have two main meanings that are very different from each other. According to your context, it means, inferring from the "college grads" comment, that white horse symbolizes success and progress through hard work and perseverance. However, be very careful when using it because "riding the white horse" also means doing cocaine. This can be found in urbandictionary as well as different rap songs, such as nice and smooth's "sometimes I Rhyme slow" referring to a girlfriend who did cocaine.
