or not from the beginning according to the Bible, so it doesn't matter how you live your life or what you do.

The dispute over whether God chooses who will be saved or whether each believer makes that choice personally is left over from a period in history where man didn't understand the nature of time. It has always been known that God is eternal. What wasn't known until our generation is that eternity isn't just a lot of time, it's the absence of time altogether.

Mankind has now learned that time only governs physical beings. God, being Spirit (John 4:24) is therefore not limited by the constraints of time. That's how he can predict events that haven't happened yet. He can see the the end from the beginning.

Simply put, this means that God knew every single person who was going to choose salvation before even one of us was created. He actually saw it happen. Knowing that, He reserved a place for us in His Kingdom. We call that pre-destination, but to Him it's as simple as making a reservation for someone He already knows will be there.

So, did God know in advance who He was going to save? Yes. Does each one of us make the decision about our own salvation? Again the answer is yes. John 1:12 and 3:16 and a host of other passages make that abundantly clear.

Thess.2:13"God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation"- Hell isn't an option. You were either chosen-
or not from the beginning according to the Bible, so it doesn't matter how you live your life or what you do.

You were quoting so well and explaining so well ......then you added ..... so whatever do whatever you want cuz nothing matters....
actually its 2nd thess 2;13

sounds like you're looking for people to agree with you so you can get mad at them.. So I'll take the bait and agree you're screwed or your not screwed sorta depends huh??even you don't get to know do ya???Maybe you're a last minute savede guy or a saved then longterm backslider guy who knows ...So you're right ... live your life ...but remember this you aren't doing anything without god nada...////squat ...your next breath is dependant upon him.... or better said ....you are not in control .... sorta like the beginning to the outer limits ...and you know it ...!!

Read the whole thing. He chose us from the beginnig to salvation, however, people deny god and ultimately choose their own fate in the end. God wishes that none should perish. It is our choice.

2Th 2:12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2Th 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

2Th 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

It means God has made a plan for everyone to be saved from the very beginning. Christ was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Rev.13:8).

That doesn't take away one's free will.

In that verse do you see were it says "chosen you"? That "you" means anybody who has believed is saved. The writer is writing to those who have already believed. If you have believed then you are saved. If you are saved then you were chosen from the beginning. This does not mean that God did mind control on people to believe. It means that you of your own decission were going to believe.

The whole verse says

13But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

Although Calvinists interpret this verse as a proof for unconditional election, my interpretation is that God made the decision for salvation for all people. His choice was that all people be saved through belief in the truth and the sanctification of the Spirit. Whether we are saved or not is not the choice that is referred to here - that is OUR choice. God had the choice to give us the opportunity to be saved through faith, or to condemn us all for our sins, and he chose to allow us to be saved.

Fear(torment): beginning of law law knowledge & wisdom.
Sorrows the beginning of this gospel vs that gospel: grace.

Only what began can end. Law began.
Grace is eternal, has no begin or end.

Big Meltdown should take care of the frozen chosen.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

You seem to be confused. God chose all of us to salvation but the choices we make in life can allow us to forfeit that right to salvation. If we choose to live our lives outside of the will of God, or differently that He chose for us to live our lives, then we have chosen to give up the salvation that he chose for us as well.

Salvation is a whosoever will. John 3:16 teaches us that. God will call ALL to come to Jesus to be saved but many will not accept Jesus.

It is God's wish that all of his children spend eternity in Heaven with him in worship. It is not his wish to send anyone to hell. Our name might be written in the book but our strive to be Christ Like is a life long process, burdened with free-will, we also have the ability to choose to turn our backs on God. denying him and choosing to reject his gift of eternal life.
