digital camera problem...?

we have a minolta digital camera. when we were about to take a shot, the shutter didnt work. it wont shot anymore. but if we use voice recording,its ok.whats wrong with the digicam?

its on my upper leg..near the knees..

Maybe low batteries? Perhaps its time to have it serviced.
