If you can firmly believe in the truth of this statement you are a few steps closer to liberation from this bodily exile. Worldly attachments bring us only suffering and the earlier we understand this truth in our lives the better it is.

i think of that folk enter right into a relationship with a preconception of what the appropriate love could be. That feeling of euphoria at first of a relationship is the experience that that concept of suitable love is being fullfilled. finally although, the different guy or woman is definite to do or say something that doesn't extra healthful that suitable concept. in case you may permit bypass of your attachment to that appropriate concept and purely savour the guy for who they're, in spite of in the event that they dont consistently not sleep on your hopes and expectancies, then it somewhat is obtainable to love in a reasonable and healthful way. Its once you're actually unable to allow bypass of that appropriate concept that inner and outer conflict are probably to show up without decision. Its at that time the place the undesirable attachment surely happens.

Attachments to things in this world will always eventually bring grief, because everything in this world dies or changes. If you can understand and accept this before you become attached, you will lighten the grief somewhat, but the only real protection from grief is to give up all attachments, which is only possible for some really ascetic people like the Dalai Lama.

Worldly attachments are also essential to keep excitement and romance in life. Otherwise life will be dull and boring. Suffering is part of life so why escape from it. It makes life interesting and we learn to enjoy life as we have surmounted suffering. Do not scumb to suffering and u will find life's beauty. Jahan mei aa ke jahan se khiche khiche na raho. Participate in life and live life fully.

Depends on what you mean by "worldly attachments". Would this mean the earth's environment? Would it mean a motor car, a bicycle, your own pair of legs? Would it mean the love of another human being? Would it mean a beautiful sunset? Aren't all these things "of the world" we live in? What isn't a worldly attachment?

yes But just giving up things is a mechanical way of getting rid of attachments. The best way to get rid of material attachments is to offer what ever our talents, activities, propensities and what every we have in the service of the Lord also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Hari, etc) then all becomes perfect and purified. In this way one becomes happy and satisfied in their life. Besides we never owned anything ever we only borrowed it from the Creator so we can only offer back to Him what Has given us. This is the most recommended and sublime method of self realization.

Everything in excess brings suffering. We need to understand if we love things, if we are attached to things or if we are obsessed about things. It is OK to enjoy life and the world around us, our family, friends, alcohol, smoking, sex, our house, our car, our job... It is not so OK to be attached to those things in a way we become selfish, demanding those things in our life, or exaggerating on the use of them. It is even worst to be obsessed about those things, to destroy our life because of them, to lose the sense of limit and not to control our impulse to have those things.
It is important to understand that we don't belong to this world, we will eventually leave our body and everything that is here to continue our spiritual journey. It is important to be aware of that. It takes too long for obsessed people to accept they are dead and let things go. There are spirits walking in the world, close to relatives or to things they loved in life, because they passed away, and don't want to let those things behind. They suffer as much as those still alive by having them around.
Yes, worldly attachment and obsession brings lots of suffering.

Attahments alone whether wordly or divine or whatever will bring suffering .That is why Lord Krishna .counsels Arjuna to perfom his duty with detachment as a sacrifice to god .Detachment is is possible only when you dosomething as a sacrifice to god .
Many people have not understood he men gof the world sacrifice .
Scrifice is not offering some life / choping of the head of some persons or animals at the altar of some God or devil .in return for something or expecting something .It is offering something( one's labour , service or some materials of some action or some service to thecommuity etc) to god without expecting enything in return. Whne nothing is expected , no suffering ensues .as ther eis no anxiety in expectation or andnodisappoitment in not getting something expected ..
