yes of course, first you have to close your mind and shut the door to common sense and your conscience , then you have to read the dogma of the bible , but don't forget to close your eyes b4 you start, then you will be taken to a safe place where you will be taught how to be condescending, this will help you when talking with the non-religious types, then you will told all the doctrine of your chosen faith, then you will be told how to describe Muslims and other religions with contempt, then you will be let out to wonder the world, don't forget to wear your blinkers! lol
I will probably get reported for that, but I couldn't resist! anyway I wasn't that bad! was I ?

It has to do with consolidating all the beliefs of how things came to be into a single entity: God, rather than multiple theories about how each thing came into being (animism, paganism, gaiaism, etc.). It's really just a typical cop-out for people who don't want to find out the truth about anything, and who enjoy the relaxation of letting the driving be done for them. Like riding the bus instead of walking. It's much easier, but you have to go where the bus goes.
To claim you are a Christian, various versions exist, but the general theme is that you pledge your faith that Jesus Christ was the son of God, that you believe he died for your salvation (to get into Heaven where everyone is a non-dancing virgin and nobody you don't like will ever bother you again), and that you are never, ever, going to change your mind.

Then you can become a missionary.
The original purpose of missionaries was to teach native peoples who they encounter NOT to EAT the salesmen who will inevitably follow the missionaries into new territory.
Modern missionaries spend their time recruiting 'soldiers' for the planned War to end all Wars; Arrghmeggeden, where Pirates and Civilian folk all try to kill every last one of each other, but the survivors live happily ever after in Peace.

Everything after that is just the Marketing Department for Patriarchal Oppression and gift shops. (look it up, under 'religions')

I was born a christian but I don't know that and even if it works, in fact I know of no religion that actually works, which is why I do not follow any organised religion - it creates barriers between people. I believe we must treat each other as kindly and decently as possible then life might work at least! I wish we could all just believe in each other in fact.

Christianity in its pure form is simply any form of religious belief based on the teachings of Jesus.

There are many different divisions of Christianity, each of which interprets these teachings (and the bible generally) in a slightly different way, but the basic tenets of all are to imitate christ. Included in the belief of almost all divisions is: belief in salvation through Jesus, love for your fellow man (in theory at least ;op), and belief in the bible (at least the new testament)

It works by knowing Jesus as your saviour. You come to a realisation, either by a divine meeting with God or by intelligent reasoning, that God is real, Jesus is alive, and you need to repent. The sickness of the world since Adam and Eve sinned is rebellion against God, going your own way. This sickness needs a cure and the cure is accepting Jesus. He died to take our sins and the punishment for them on himself. We make a choice whilst alive to believe Jesus or to reject Him.

Christianity isn't complicated at all. Organized religion just makes it seem complicated so it can make money "selling salvation". I'm not saying attending Church is bad, I'm just saying be careful to check everything you are told about God.

Christianity is like planting a seed and seeing it grow!

You invite God into your life and let God lead you. You nurture your relationship with God by reading the bible and praying...after a while you feel an inner peace within you that not even this world can offer.

Give it try...You will succeed!

May God be with you!

"I come to you with Christ and him Crucified" that is what is important. The concept of imputed sin fills in the blanks. Basically means that God withheld his wrath and waited for the right sacrifice that would wash away the sins of the world. That sacrifice was Jesus.

God bless,
If you want to know more, let me know

Not enough room here to say ALL that needs to be said.

In brief, God made man to have fellowship with Him.
But man rebelled and sinned against God.
This meant we are separated from God and will die.

But God loved us still, even though we were sinners.
So God sent Jesus to take our sins.
All we need to do is accept this gift of redemption.

Than we need to follow God's word in the Bible.

We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that we can do this continually but only through God can we repent

We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is born again through the love that he provides.

We believe that believers are to be sanctified through the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
