I have heard this phrase over and over... but how do you leave something for God, when you constantly worry and think about it? Is it truly possible to give something to god, without taking it back?

This is truly the hardest thing that I have found to do as a Christian. I am so used to being in control and have a horrible time surrendering and submitting. Realizing that if I just give it to God, who has the ultimate control things will work out the way they are suppose to, they always do. I usually fall to my knees in prayer, after awhile of weeping and prayer, I will submit. I am a stubborn Christian, it is my sin, that I confess to the Lord Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness for on a daily basis.

I have heard it said, "if you pray dont worry, and if you worry don't pray"

Regardless of the situation, God does have a plan. You do all that you can do, and then get out of the way and let God do the rest.
It has been suggested that to take your mind off of your own worries, you get with someone else and help them. This takes your mind off of "self" and allows God to do his magic for you.

I hope you find what it is you are seeking and just remember, regardless of how much you worry, the outcome is going to be the same.

Blessings and Peace to you

Have you ever met any 12 steppers who love their 12 step program??? They are a good source for this as they live "Let Go And Let God" Also if you get the chance...Find people of Faith who experienced an event or situation in their life and how they KNEW it was something they could not fix, or change and therefore knew for their PEACE of mind they decided to LET Go of trying to fix or change the circumstance and how their faith helped them do this.... there are alot of folks out there in your family and friends circle as well that would be more than honored to share how they LET GO in their lives... Good luck

Leave Law is insufficient, for Grace is sufficient.
Law the put off to put away first. Law & Grace don't mix.
First bind the "strong man", to spoil hse of sin & death.
Law is the "strength" of sin's death sting: 1Cor 15:56.

Law: I will forget you and I will forsake you: Jeremiah 23:39.
Grace: I will never leave you nor forsake you: Hebrews 13:5

Think, from the end already written.
Only what began can end. Law began.
Grace is eternal, has no beginning or end.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

it is possible. this is one of the reasons why faith is so important. i know God has done things for you in the past. think bout the times God came in at the right time. He was there for you the other times dont you believe He will be there for you this time? whenever i start feeling my faith slipping cause He hasnt showed up when i want Him to, i start thinking bout the times in the past that He had helped when i had no clue what i was gonna do. He is gonna do it when He knows the time is right and there is no doubt He is gonna get the glory for it.

Don't listen to hippie man his girl friend told me last night that he has some "male problems".
Trust in the infinite is difficult so pray for peace and once you see that GOD will not let you down it will get easier. Talk to GOD just like you would talk to your best friend, Tell him that you are afraid to trust. Peace

the most important thing to do is accept what is happening at that moment, just accept it, don't struggle against it, don't try to come up with ideas of how God can fix it for you, just accept it

after you accept it, then you will find out how God moves in your life

the hardest part is surrendering, because our individual egos believe that we know better for ourselves, and resist accepting what we believe should not be happening
