Flu is miserable stuff!

Try bringing her chicken soup, or ginger tea to help her tummy. If tea is not her thing, get her ginger ale. If she can handle it, get her orange juice. The main thing you want to be sure of is that she doesn't dehydrate.

Also, try massaging her head, hands, and feet. That would feel good in any case, and I noticed that when I did that for my husband he seemed to rest better and feel better more quickly.

Tell her I said feel better!

Alot of times flu medicines just help the symptoms, but do not get rid of the flu.....

You can just pet her and give her chicken soup or broth....Keep 7-up or sprite on hand and some crackers....Mostly just pamper her and let her know that you are there to take care of her.....that will make her feel the best....

Hope she feels better

aside from what everyone just mentioned you can also read her a children's book before she goes to sleep to make her laugh or even put a smile on her face. make sure to make the appropriate voices for the characters and faces and hand motions and everything else as if u were reading to a 3 yr old. put some fun into making her feel better besides the usual medicine and soup. hope she gets better soon ;)

Everyone is different as to what they want when they're sick.. Some people want soup and magazines and to watch tv.. Some people want to be left alone to rest and other's just want someone to sit with them and keep them company, even if there are no words spoken.. Just spend some time with her and ask her straight out if she would like you to do anything for her or to get her anything.

Keep her hydrated. Help her keep her fever under control (acetaminophen and ibuprofen can be alternated every 2 hours, i.e: ibuprofen @ 2pm, acetaminophen @ 4pm, ibuprofen @ 6pm, acetaminophen @ 8pm, etc). Keep her comfortable and let her rest.
