yea all types really but you are going to need to grind down the actual blade yourself

Not if you want to make top quality custom knives.

The best quality, highest priced custom knives are hand forged.

Milling machines are more often used for mass produced knives of lower value.

biggest display knife I made was an 18" bowie I clamped onto a CNC machine, designed with auto cad.

Bought the steel from MSC, used O-1 (oil hardening) pre ground to 1/4 inch, came in a 3" x 18" blank.

yes, but its not commonly done.

it is done by forging, annealing and hardening by flame and manually producing a piece
