I am from Reading and can recommend the Tattoists near the train station there. it is dead opposite on the row of shop, i think its call tat2u? The guys name is Klunky. He is most helpful and tattooed me with my arabic writing on my foot.
i went in April one afternoon weekday and got seen straight away. It is clean, friendly and reasonable.

Carvills in slough/Burnham. There is one in windsor high street which is quite good.
