Hair wax makes white stuff on hair:(?

Question

I use Gatsby ultra solid wax. I notice whenever i put it there would be a lot of white stuff on my hair. It's quite embarassing when people think it's dandruff.

What should i do?

And how do i style spiky hair?

Maybe you are using too much.

I use Bed Head wax (Manipulator, the blue stuff) or Crew wax and do not have that problem.

I use wax first, then some Nexxus Exxtra Hold Styling gel. That combo should give you the spiky hair you want.

i use something called designing taffy.
the brand is solutions by Great Clips.
It doesnt leave anything in your hair
and it smells really good
it makes your hair easy to spike, or do however you want it
and, most of all, it has proteins in it that gives life to your hair, and it also makes it nice and shiny.
