It seems to be reaccuring and just comes and goes constantly every few weeks. I seem to get it easier than my counterparts. I usually treat it very aggrssivley with anti fungals and it goes away in about 4-5 days and never really gets bad. Then it will spring back up somewhere else. My question is this. If I leave the ringworm, dont treat it with lamisil or anything, and let it run its course, will my immune system eventually find a way to deal with it and build up an imminity thus keeping me from getting it as easily in the future?

probably not - you need to keep treating it, I have yet to hear of any fungal infection acquired by men or women that their own bodies got rid of without medical treatment

your counterparts and you are passing it back and forth when you grapple

are you sure they don't have this problem like you? Is it possible they just don't show the signs as bad as you or that perhaps they treat it quicker?

Fast Ringworm Cure?

the only way to stop the ringworm is to kill it at the source. Bleach and antibacterial cleaners will work. My son used to get it from the wrestling mats....after getting in the coaches face he started cleaning the mats before and after practices. That's when the ringworm stopped.

Keep treating the ringworm and get the Bleach out!

I really don't know, Mic. I don't think so because Ringworm is caused by a parasite rather than a bacterium.

You might want to use alcohol on your equipment to kill any nasty little bugs hiding there.

Good luck!
