Many reasons are possible.

They are not christian.

They are new christians.

They are having a weak time in their lives, being controlled by their original nature and not by the Spirit of God.

They are wolves in sheeps clothing who do other bad stuff to try to teach christians in the church that its okay to sin.

* it could be any of these, really. But honestly its a sin like any other and no one who knows God can claim to be without sin as that is a sure indication they don't know God. You might find hypocricy in a believer but don't think you are immune to it yourself or that it gets you a free ticket out of exploring for the truth. Discrediting a religion because of a 'believer' or 'believers' is a cop out.

There are 10 commandments and over 600 littler laws in the bible. Everyone has the propensity to break them. It's our sin nature.

Being a believer in Jesus Christ puts you in right standing with God, but you will continue to be a sinner 'til the day you die.

Because their sins have no consequences, as long as they go to church on Sunday and ask for forgiveness.

Of course, this only applies to heterosexual fornication. Gays can never be forgiven, according to most fundies I've known. Sure, it says in the NT that fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God, but you know, we'll overlook that and focus on the Evil Homosexuals.

Because the Spirit within us is willing to follow God's commands, but the flesh is very, very weak.

EDIT: "Sips with a fist" -- technically, Mary & Joseph were married when Jesus was conceived. In ancient Israel, being betrothed was the same as being married; you just couldn't cohabit with your spouse yet. And Jesus was not conceived via sex.

Why would an all powerful creator trifle in the sex lives of humans? I think that even believers question that.

we are in the flesh. just cause we believe and love Jesus doesnt mean that we have no temptation. matter of fact it seems that satan entices us more when he knows he doesnt have us then when he knows he already has us. "the things i will to do i dont but the things i will not to do those are the things i do" i think it was Paul that said this. i cant remember which book.

Because we are human and have fleshly desires. Romans 3:23 states "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
