I know pleading the blood is very important in christianity and a vital part of many of your prayers but do you really think it is necessary to plead the blood over everything? Don't you think the idea gets carried away sometimes? I have seen people plead the blood over their cars, their cats, their motorcycles, parking lots...I really can't imagine all christians think this is normal and what you should do.

Does it not show lack of faith in god if you have to keep constantly pleading the blood over everything. I don't see anywhere in the bible where it tells you to do this over and over again.

primoa1970:
You get a lot of respect from me for admitting that the blood of christ is abused...so glad you aren't one of the self-righteous ones.
But aren't you no longer under the blood covenant though? I thought that Jesus doing what he did made blood unecessary...

how fascinating, I don't know that much about this, except what I have just read at http://www.letusreason.org/Doct23.htm
but I find it perplexing, what good would this do pouring it over your car, or your poor cat! I will try it with the wife and get back to you, that is if I am still alive that is, lol

edit: I know the Jews make blood bread, but I have never heard this of Cjhristians b4, I will look deeper into it.

The blood of Christ can easily be abused by us at times.

Material things should not control us........nor control us to the point where we are pleading the blood of Christ over them.

Although whenever I get on an airplane, I always plead the blood over it for safety. That's just me being me I suppose.....

we should plead the blood over matters that we truly need help with... like depression or when we are fighting devils through the power of the holy ghost and the blood of the lamb we can overcome all things.

Like our brother Primo shared ..this is truly a matter that has been paid much emphasis over the years by some of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
I remember being at that sort of point where I would be so sensitive to the things regarding the enemy that I forgot totally about giving my being to be focused on the Lord.
I understand that as believers we need to be wise and not be caught in a snare of the cunning one satan.. but at the same time he has magnified things related to him so much that as believers we loose our real focus which should be Christ.
We LOOK AWAY unto JESUS.. He Author and Perfector of our Faith.

Some churches tend to have such a thrust in the " spiritual warfare" direction and most of the believers there are flavoured as such.
I remember the turning point for me. Sister it was actually during a sort of attack of the enemy against my family. The root was fear and satan kept feeding it. This happened for a few weeks in a row then the Lord had to mercifully come in to rescue us from this kind of trap. We realized that satan is " like a roaring lion" making so much noise inorder to draw attention to himself and cause the children of God to loose what they should really be pursuing after. That night we just lifted the name of the Lord Jesus and got so caught up in HIM that satan was left outside like the slimy " nailed to the cross" serpent that he was and IS!

Spirituality is a Body matter. All that God affords us as His believers is in the Body. As members in this body we need to learn how to take the Covering of Christ as the Head of the Body of which we are members. Learning how to shift our emphasis, by the Mercy of the Lord to focus on God rather on where the enemy's next attack will be from will liberate us from this sublte trap of the deciever.

May we all just give ourselves to love Jesus..To glory in all that He has attained and obtained.. All that He has and is , He poured it into the Church...
Satan is petrified of the builded church.. may our focus and emphasis be on BUILDING up the Church as the Body of Christ.

This will actually be the death blow for satan... Once the Body is matured and the Warrior Bride has made herself ready.. THe Lord will have a way to return to usher in the Age of the Kingdom on the earth for 1000 years.
This is GLORIOUS!!!
Hallelujah for the Body of Christ!

Lets keep abiding sweet sister

Most of the religious think that blood is the power of willing. If you have willing, you will follow the willing need to go. Then you are never happy as the desire leading you to do something may be unwillingly.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but only in a case where it has become common and no longer conceived by the Spirit. The only limits on God is the limit that we put on Him ourselves.
