if i had to drop an egg from 7 feet in the air what is the best way to protect it ?

ok so i am doing a project in school and i need to know the best way to keep a large grade A egg safe from an inpact of 7 feet , so basically what is the strongest point of an egg

build a box with the egg suspended in the middle and allow the box to crush on impact. The key is to dissipate the energy imparted to the egg gradually.

Key ways to reduce the impact.

Slow the decent, make the object holding the egg with the least aerodynamic characteristics possible, think about drag chutes, wings, even holes in the box will cause resistance to acceleration.

Cushion the impact, crush zone will dissipate some of the energy of the impact just do let the package crush too much, think about cars they have zone that are sacrificed to protect the driver.

Spread the force over the largest possible area. which means construct a sling mechanism I like using rubber bands and part of a traditional egg carton to suspend the egg and dissipate the energy over the large possible surface and during a controlled oscillation.

In college we did this and my egg only survived a 4 story drop but the winner got clear up to 6 stories.

Let it fall on grass and if there are no rocks it will not break. You can toss an egg out of a second story window onto a grass lawn and it will not break. I have done it a number of times. The egg bounces and rolls but does not break. One time it did break when, after being tossed from the second floor onto the grass, it rolled off the grass and fell one inch onto the sidewalk and then broke.

Hmm... regardless of, i'm veggie and that i'm having a veery specific Christmas Dinner. Plus, on the same time as quickly as I wasn't veggie, I used to have fowl by using fact, definitely, it tastes greater effective. Turkey is completely a sprint gross. do not assume they're damaging merely by using fact they consume meat this is obtainable in smaller sizes. Have a groovy time everybody (exceptionally you vegetarians lol!) xxxxx Oh and everybody sense greater sorry for the birds who're fattened up and by no skill see daylight hours so as that they'd take a seat on a plate on your table and be feasted on. At lease be unfastened variety and organic and organic!!
