Mainly it was because Moses couldn't read the damn map, and you know men, they won't stop and ask for directions.

The Israelites have been compelled to wander interior the wasteland to attempt and get their sinful approaches out of them until now being led to the promised land. It took 40 years, and that they nevertheless does not do good interior the eyes of God. that they had grow to be so corrupt that Even Moses did not get to bypass over the River Jordan, yet in easy terms look on the Promised Land. The cloud via day and the hearth via evening replaced into their map, and God led them the place he chosen to. EDIT: i think of you may desire to envision the story lower back NerdF. that's not somewhat how the story is going. somewhat, Moses did not lead them into Cannan, Joshua did. Moses replaced into not allowed to bypass the River Jordan by way of fact of his own disobediance whilst he grew to become indignant with the God by way of Israelites whining and he smote the rock. Vishal, in case you somewhat have faith that map is actual, then why does the Bible say they observed the cloud via day and the hearth via evening? that would desire to be contradictory to the scriptures. recent replace: in accordance to the object, "Now, an archaeological dig on the shorelines of the pink Sea proves that God did prepare Moses the way." in accordance to a prepare I purely watched on the background Channel this evening, they now say they have evidence from Egyptian Hieroglyphs that the Israelites crossed the REED SEA, not the pink SEA, so in the event that they have been acceptable, then the map replaced into discovered interior the incorrect place. So we've evidence that the Israelites crossed the Reed Sea, yet Moses lost his map interior the pink Sea! How might desire to this probable be???? i understand, perhaps God might desire to have popular they have been finding interior the incorrect place for the map, so he moved the map to the place they have been finding. it somewhat is a MIRACLE!!!! isn't is exciting to observe scientists prepare one yet another incorrect whilst they attempt to coach the Bible is a hoax?

Think thats funny huh..NO it was because the God of Israel, the creator, made it to be that way..for one the israelites were,are.. rebellious people and they kept,keep..turning away from the creator, serving false gods,etc..And HE promised that because of that, those who rebelled would not cross over into the land HE promised,so they had to wander in the wilderness until those who rebelled finally passed..Shalom
