First off, if you are having problems with swallowing, you may want to see a GI doctor. You may have a stricture that is hindering you swallowing food, or you may have some acid reflux that can be cured with daily medicines. Try prevacid for a few days and see if that helps...now to the question.
I say a glass of 1% milk, a peice of fruit, and a piece of whole wheat toast would be a healthy breakfast.

The kind of food that really affords us to 's-t-r-e-t-c-h' that early morning freshness ATLEAST till the lunch session, to remain active, productive, alert, intelligent, etc....
Usually, the food suited for remaining alert is the food 'designed' by nature for humans (from our anatomy, biology -- or whatever -- point of view).
The structure of teeth, the digestive system that resembles the chewing with saliva, sending a partly pre-digested food to stomach (instead of gobbling that deep fried fat-rich tasty things, and then feel that dullness when stomach diverts our energy to first re-constitute the food into digestible form etc)...
Try fruits, vegetables ( choosing least possible cooking), that salads etc, a little of needed starch contents for sugar too!

i know what you mean about the yougart, the fruit on the bottom stuff is much thiner and tasty-er
i've never consiterd cereal junk, just buy the helathy stuff, <10gr sugar(LESS THAN btw). like, cherious, even some sweaater cerieal is ok.
but dougnuts are terriabel for breakfast.
eggs? scrambled....good4u and usualy tasty.

There are lots of healthy cereals. I eat a whole grain cereal myself and add some strawberries or other berries.

Boiled egg , but only eat the white of the egg with a small amount of cheddar cheese or your choice of cheese with a couple of slices of turkey bacon. No bread.

Any kind of fruit and some cerial is ok like cherios and rasin bran. I only like healthy cearal im so weird lol.
