Freedom has no price -unless you want to count the loss of life and/or loss of body parts.

How can you put a price on freedom-it is worth everything -Freedom is worth living , fighting and dying for .
The biggest consequence for assimilating is world wide BOREDOM .
What is wrong with diversity -except one 'People" will always think they are better than the other 'People'
I guess that part of human nature can't be helped-

Lucky 7,

The best words are those which are TRUE, not few. The effect takes care of itself within those hearts and minds which resonate to them. Thanks for the observation....

I've found that most folks do not have any trouble thinking whatsoever, contrary to your quoted historian's observation.

The effect of the gold and silver booms of this country's history are a near-perfect refutation of his thesis.

How many people would you guess loved (not hated) thinking about what they would find AFTER they had spent hours each day digging acres of land?

Would you not then assume that the price, in sweat equity, that each digger was willing to expend toward their idea of the price of freedom from poverty, was, in their estimation, labor well spent?

As to the consequence for assimilating, I'm certain they found that there are far graver consequences borne by NOT having sufficient monetary means to meet the daily requirements of survival in a society that, even yet, "treasures its treasure" far above the very citizens who produce it. The price of freedom is the cost of whatever a man has determined will keep him alive. Take that away from a man and he will give little thought to the niceties of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, until he has satisfied THAT need.

THAT is the price for freedom, as man usually sees it.

However.....We have forgotten WHO WE ARE!

We are immortal, spiritual beings made as the Image and Spirit of our Creator!!

Ever since mankind's advent on the Earth, virtually the ENTIRETY of our concepts concerning existence, governmental enterprise, art, war, medicine, science, economics, philosophy, metaphilosophy, and religion under this SINGLE flaw in our conception, has been what? To avoid, mitigate, delay, prevent or cause what we think of as the death of the body! Am I right? That's been human existence in a nutshell for EONS!

So, under the profound misconception that immortal, spiritual beings are expressing as mortals in dying bodies, it is a certainty that we would continue to believe the unbelievable.

OF COURSE, we would mistakenly believe that we OWN the things that we "buy" (any and all which can be produced from the inexhaustible Universal Supply in superabundance without expending a single cent, and can be relegated back to the Spiritual Supply as if it had never existed, until needed again!).

OF COURSE, we would mistakenly believe that we must ASK for what we THINK we do not have, because we can't see it with physical eyes (forgetting that our Creator ALREADY GAVE US HIS OWN POWER to create it instantaneously out of Spirit and with the power to lower its vibrations to the level of tangible "touchable" physicality)!

OF COURSE, we would erroneously believe that it all TAKES A LONG, LONG TIME (forgetting that creation "in the twinkling of an eye" is possible because our EVERY DESIRE, whether it be for profound guidance or one’s most ardently sought soul mate, is already CREATED and WAITING on US to call it forth!!).

That which is transitory COULD NOT POSSIBLY have the power to wield that which is eternal. The power of us as individually endowed creations resides in the immortal spirit of us, NOT IN THE TRANSITORY ABODES (BODIES) we adopt (and carry with us) to occasionally visit dimensions of lowered spiritual frequency.

The most ardent message to all of mankind from those who are the way-showers, such as our Brother Jesus, is to REMEMBER THAT WE ARE IMMORTAL MASTERS TOO! Not because of the miraculous-seeming feats that we, or they, or Jesus have been able to do, BUT BECAUSE OF WHO WE REALLY ARE! And have ALWAYS been.

Mankind is born to assimilate the very kingdom of Heaven, omnipresent within each of US.

HERE, within US, is where real wealth is !!

HERE, within US, is where freedom rings !!

The price for freedom is all to often, death. Think of all the men who paid with their lives in WWII so we could remain free.
